Effective date: May 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SpeechBloom ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. We have designed SpeechBloom to respect privacy, especially the privacy of children and families.
SpeechBloom is a fully offline communication and learning app. It does not require an account, does not require an internet connection to function, does not collect personal information, does not display advertisements, and does not share any data with third parties.
SpeechBloom does not collect or transmit any of the following:
To remember your preferences, the App stores the following on your device only:
This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party. You can clear it at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data through your device settings.
SpeechBloom is designed for use by children and their caregivers. We take children's privacy seriously and have built the App to comply with the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar protections in other jurisdictions:
SpeechBloom requests minimal device permissions, only those necessary for the App's core function. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location, or other sensitive permissions unless a feature explicitly requires it and you grant it for that purpose.
The App is fully usable offline. The App does not transmit user data to our servers or any third-party servers. If a future update introduces an optional online feature (such as cloud backup of your settings), it will be clearly disclosed and require your explicit consent before any data is sent.
If the App offers in-app purchases (for example, to unlock Pro features), these are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment information. Refer to Google's privacy policy for details on how Google handles billing data.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. Voice synthesis is performed using bundled offline audio files. No audio is sent to a third-party voice service during normal use.
Because no personal data is sent off your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. To remove all data the App has stored on your device, uninstall the App or clear its storage through your device's Settings menu.
If this Privacy Policy changes in the future, we will update this page with the new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the App as well.
